About Valerie

Valerie Keller B.A, B.S., PA-C

Education

Valerie received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Alderson-Broaddus College and later her Physician Assistant degree from Mountain State University. She has been practicing medicine as a PA for 19 years.

Experience

She has always had a keen interest in psychology and psychiatry and entered the outpatient behavioral health field 12 years ago. Her experience includes child and adolescent psychiatry, including autism and developmental disorders, as well as adult psychiatry. She began using telemedicine to reach patients in rural areas 5 years ago.

Expertise

For part of the last 2 years she has been involved in a team-approach university study examining the efficacy of telemedicine in the treatment of substance use disorders. She is committed to delivering quality virtual telehealth that patients can experience at their own comfort and convenience.
